hello-front-door-decal-vinyl-welcome-48786
Welcome Sign for Front Door | Hello Vinyl Decal

Hello vinyl welcome sign for a front door

This cut-vinyl “Hello” decal creates a simple welcome sign directly on a compatible front door, entrance window or smooth wall. It is an adhesive graphic rather than a wooden, acrylic or metal sign, so the surrounding surface remains visible.

Choose the correct size

Available sizes range from 8 inches to 118 inches. The selected size describes the longest exterior dimension of the complete installed design. Measure the clear application area and exclude handles, locks, panels, glazing, mouldings, sensors and moving edges. Mark the proposed outline with removable tape before ordering.

Large sizes may be supplied in accurately aligned sections because of production and shipping limits. Arrange the complete design before applying the first section.

Colour and placement

Use the colour choice or order instructions shown on the product page. Check the contrast between the vinyl and the door, glass or wall from the normal viewing distance. Screen settings, lighting and the surrounding surface can affect how the finished colour appears.

Check the installation surface

Apply only to a clean, dry, smooth and stable surface compatible with adhesive vinyl. Dust, wax, grease, silicone, strong texture, loose paint, damaged coatings and recurring moisture can reduce adhesion. Allow fresh paint to cure according to the paint manufacturer’s instructions. Test a discreet area when the finish is uncertain.

Exterior durability depends on the exact surface, exposure, temperature, cleaning and edge condition. Do not apply across door gaps, seals, flexible joints or moving hardware.

How to apply the front door decal

Clean the surface using a residue-free method and allow it to dry completely.

Position the full design and mark level reference points.

Secure the decal temporarily with low-tack tape.

Apply gradually using the attached transfer layer.

Smooth from the centre toward the edges without stretching the vinyl.

Remove the transfer layer slowly while checking that every element remains attached.

Care and removal

Use non-abrasive cleaning methods suitable for both the vinyl and the underlying surface. Inspect exposed edges periodically. Removal results depend on the finish, installation period, temperature and technique, so no universal residue-free or paint-safe result can be guaranteed.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a physical hanging sign?

No. It is a cut-vinyl “Hello” decal applied directly to a compatible surface.

Can it be applied to glass?

Yes, when the glass is smooth, clean and compatible.
