Each option defines the available width and height for the complete layout, not the height of each letter. Your wording and font determine the final proportions; the lettering does not have to fill a square.

For example, 24 x 24 is a layout area up to 24 inches wide and 24 inches high. A long business name and a short two-line message can have different finished dimensions within that area. Confirm the exact width, height and line breaks before production.
