It does not describe the complete installed coverage, and individual silhouettes can have different heights and proportions. Measure the full pane, choose a marker size that remains visible from the approach side and plan how the 25 pieces will be distributed.

Placement and performance

Arrange the decals across the collision-risk area rather than placing a few isolated shapes in one corner. Spacing, marker size, reflections, outside lighting, nearby plants, glass transparency and viewing direction all affect visibility.

The set can help make glass more noticeable to birds, but it cannot guarantee prevention of every collision.

Installation side and glass check

Inspect the window from outside or the normal approach direction. Exterior application may provide stronger visibility against reflections when the material and access conditions permit it. Test coated, tinted, filmed or specialised glass before completing the installation. The presence of a backing should not be treated as proof of reusable static-cling construction.

Application

Clean the glass with a residue-free compatible method.

Let the pane dry completely.

Arrange all 25 silhouettes before exposing adhesive.

Apply each decal smoothly according to the supplied instructions.

Inspect edges and review the complete pattern from outside.

Care and removal

Use non-abrasive glass-safe cleaning methods. Inspect the decals periodically and replace damaged, faded or lifting pieces. Removal and residue depend on the material, glass coating, exposure and installation period, so no universal residue-free result should be assumed.

Frequently asked questions

What does Pattern A mean?

It identifies this silhouette assortment within the Decords catalogue.
